Terms of Use

Last updated: May 23, 2026

Acceptance

By using awooler ("the tool"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

What awooler is

awooler is a free, browser-based sprite editor for Howler.js. It runs entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, no servers processing your data, and no fees.

As-is disclaimer

awooler is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

In no event shall the author be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use awooler, including but not limited to data loss, corrupted audio files, or workflow interruptions.

Your data

Your files never leave your browser. All audio processing happens locally in memory — nothing is uploaded, stored on a server, or sent anywhere. Project data (slices, settings, preferences) is stored in your browser's localStorage and IndexedDB. No data is transmitted to any server at any time. You are responsible for backing up your own work.

Intellectual property

awooler and its source code are the property of awooler. Audio files you load into awooler remain yours — the tool makes no claim to your content.

Changes

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of awooler constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
